2018 Key dates
Slater and Gordon are excited to announce that shortly our Health Projects and Research Fund for 2018 will be open. We are in the final stages of preparing everything to launch this exciting initiative. The key dates are as follows:

4th June | Committee considers applications
18th June | 2018 Health Project & Research Fund grant recipients announced
The 2017 grant recipients are:
Monash University, Victoria
The Monash University Health Literacy unit received $23,344 to explore and describe health literacy profiles in Spinal cord injury patients.
University of Western Australia (UWA), Perth
The UWA received $19,564 to assist the study of the impact of voluntary exercise on the treatment of mesothelioma, including reduction in tumour growth, improvement of treatment tolerance, and enhancement of treatment effects.
Cancer Council, WA
The Cancer Council received $25,000 to allow the creation of easily-accessible educational videos on occupational-caused cancers and risks in the workplace.
Northern Sydney Local Health District, NSW
The $24,953 grant will assist in the study of comparing the use of low and high enemas in bowel care for spinal cord injury patients to determine which is more effective in improving quality of life.
