Mental Health and Counselling Services

    Open Arms provides high quality mental health assessment and clinical counselling services for Australian veterans and their families.

  • ADF All-hours Support Line - 1800 628 036
    The All-hours Support Line is a 24 hour telephone service designed to connect ADF members and their families to mental health services more easily. Services include: psychology, medical, social work, and chaplain services.

  • ADF Defence Member and Family Helpline - 1800 624 608
    The Defence Member and Family Helpline is staffed by qualified human services professionals to provide support information and connection with your community, including your local DMFS.

  • Mensline Australia – 1300 789 978
    MensLine Australia is a phone and online counselling service dedicated to providing support to Australian men.

  • Beyond Blue – 1300 224 636
    BeyondBlue provides free calls and chats, one-on-one with a trained mental health professional for crisis support and counselling. Calls are available 24-hours, 7 days per week. The online chat service is available 3pm – 12 am 7 days per week.

  • Suicide Call Back Service - 1300 659 467
    The Suicide Call Back Service is a nation-wide service providing 24/7 telephone and online counselling to people affected by suicide.

  • Lifeline - 131 114
    Lifeline provides free, 24-hour Telephone Crisis Support service across Australia 7 days per week.

Housing Services

  • RSL Homes for Heroes Program
    The program provides care and support to veterans that are homeless or at risk of homelessness to assist them to live sustainably and independently in their chosen community.

  • Women Veterans Network Australia
    A peer support network focused on helping women veterans connect with each other to share information and access services to support of their transition.

  • RSL Life Care - 1300 232 564
    RSL Life Care provides a range of veteran services aimed at improving the wellbeing of veterans and their families. Services include the RSL Employment Program and the Veteran Wellbeing Centre.

    Legacy provides social, financial and developmental support to veterans’ families after the loss or injury of a loved one.
