I am an Abuse Lawyer at Slater and Gordon with six years of experience in the legal industry. Before joining the Abuse Law team, I built my foundation across Criminal Law, Property and Conveyancing, and predominantly Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Accident claims. This experience, particularly in personal injury, has given me a practical, end-to-end understanding of the processes clients navigate.

I chose to practise in personal injury because it aligns with my values. I believe the law is a tool for justice, particularly for those who may otherwise be overlooked or unheard. I am committed to advocating for people who have suffered harm or injustice and helping them access their legal rights and the compensation they deserve.

My approach is grounded in compassion, patience and clear communication. I understand that clients often seek legal representation during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. I strive to ensure they feel heard, supported and informed by simplifying complex legal issues and providing honest guidance throughout their matter. I see my role as not only advancing a legal claim, but also helping clients regain a sense of dignity, security and confidence.

I speak Tamil and English fluently and have conversational Sinhala skills. Outside of work, I volunteer by assisting Tamil-speaking migrants and refugees through translation and community advocacy, reinforcing my belief that the law should be accessible, culturally sensitive and centred on the people it serves.
