Our team at Slater and Gordon Melbourne are proud to support our local community with their legal needs. We have the backing of a large national firm with teams that specialise in Workers Compensation, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Medical Negligence claims, Public Liability, Asbestos and Silicosis claims, and Superannuation and Disability Insurance. Additionally, our Melbourne office is home to our teams who specialise in Class Actions, Dispute Resolution and Estate Litigation.
Slater and Gordon innovated the No Win, No Fee payment arrangement, and we continue to help our clients in Victoria on this basis, ensuring you can access expert legal advice, no matter your financial circumstances.
Since 2009, we have provided free social work support services to our personal injury clients in crisis upon referral from a lawyer. Those support services cover a wide range of issues including emotional distress, financial and housing issues, and difficulty accessing care, treatment or support services post-hospital discharge.
Slater and Gordon Melbourne
At Slater and Gordon Melbourne, we feel privileged to have the opportunity to be able to guide our clients through some of the most challenging and emotional times in their lives.
Our friendly team of legal experts are passionate about delivering great results for our clients and helping them to navigate through the legal system. We understand the stress our clients are under in times of injury and hardship, and we do our utmost to try and ease this burden and obtain due compensation for them.
We are proud that our organisation has a long history of working with the union movement and fighting for union members, and we continue to work closely with local and nationwide Unions, representing the rights of workers.
Our lawyers also volunteer at local community legal centres and are involved in the Law Institute of Victoria. We also play a role in the wider community, with many lawyers participating in Union rallies as well as volunteering at local events such as the African Music and Cultural Festival.
