I am a Legal Counsel in the Asbestos and Dust Diseases Team at Slater & Gordon.

I represent people diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases including mesothelioma, asbestos-related lung cancer and asbestosis.  I am based out of the Morwell office, and a large part of my work involves helping former State Electricity Commission (SEC) employees, contractors, tradespeople and their families from Morwell, Yallourn, Moe, Traralgon and the broader Latrobe Valley.

For generations, the SEC was the backbone of the Latrobe Valley.  Whether exposure occurred at the SEC's Yallourn, Hazelwood or Morwell power stations, the briquette factories, workshops, mine operations or associated industrial sites or family members washing work clothes.

I understand the important role the SEC played in shaping the local community. I also understand the devastating impact an asbestos-related diagnosis can have on individuals and families who have lived and worked in the Valley for generations.

I am privileged to assist those workers and their families in seeking justice and compensation when that exposure results in asbestos-related disease.

While no amount of compensation can undo the harm caused by asbestos exposure, I am committed to helping clients obtain recognition, accountability and financial security for themselves and their loved ones. I pride myself on providing practical advice, clear communication and compassionate support throughout what is often a very difficult time.
