As the Head of ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) at Slater and Gordon I’m proud and grateful to work for a company that cares for our clients, our people, the communities we live and work in, as well as the future of our world.

Slater and Gordon has always stood for access to justice and has always advocated for a fairer and more equitable society, but we know that there is always opportunity for growth. This is especially so in the ESG space.

ESG encompasses a wide and important range of issues that affect us all, and in particular our clients. My work as a lawyer at Slater and Gordon has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and concerns of the clients we serve, as well as the skills to help address the practical, strategic and ethical challenges involved in striving to be better contributors to a better world.

After 25 years of working for injured people, I want to direct my energy and passion into seeing how we can best continue to advocate for a better society, and how that advocacy can help address the systemic issues that we see commonly affecting our clients.

ESG at Slater and Gordon includes many elements: from improving our environmental performance, overseeing our staff giving fund, enhancing and expanding our Pro Bono and Advocacy program, to looking after our Alumni Program which encourages current and past employees to connect and share their passion for justice in the law and in the community, inspiring the next generation of change-makers at Slater and Gordon.

Our ESG work allows Slater and Gordon to continue to care for our clients while continuously improving and living our values by doing our bit for a better world.
