I became a lawyer because I wanted to make a practical and lasting difference to my clients. Having worked in community health for many years, I was drawn to medical law because I understand that good health is vital for wellbeing. I have also seen first-hand the devastating impact mistakes can have on every aspect of my clients’ day to day lives. I believe that when mistakes are made, there needs to be justice and accountability.

I have practised exclusively in medical law since 2017 and I am highly experienced in the preparation and assessment of a broad range of medical negligence claims, from delayed diagnoses to surgical errors. Medical law can sometimes feel complex and overwhelming, but I am able to help my clients navigate the legal and medical systems to access compensation. I pride myself on giving my clients simple and straightforward advice with care, respect and commitment, so they are fully informed about their rights and feel supported through every step of the process.

I work hard to achieve the best settlement for my clients at the earliest opportunity and while I’m a strong advocate, I also understand that many clients want to avoid the stress and expense of trial.

Financial compensation can’t turn back time, but it can give you many more options and help you regain quality of life and independence. Holding those responsible for substandard care to account also helps to prevent the same mistakes happening to others in the future.
