Practising as a lawyer in Slater and Gordon’s WorkCover area, I'm proud to use my skills, knowledge and passion to help those who have been injured at work get the right compensation, justice and support they deserve.
I am particularly motivated to work in this field, having come from a family whose members worked largely in manual labour due to language barriers, so I know the challenges and risks involved.
Since my admission to practice in 2015 I have helped clients with statutory benefits, serious injury and damages claims. Whether I’m helping our clients access their entitlements or being a sounding board for someone working out their future options, my satisfaction stems from getting a positive end result.
I’m proud to have achieved a $500,000 settlement for a client who sustained a shoulder injury and consequential psychiatric injury. We were able to get this result without stepping into the courtroom—something our client wanted to avoid.
I also helped to get a rejected WorkCover claim overturned, which resulted in our client being back paid approximately two and a half years’ worth of weekly compensation payments.
