Practising as a lawyer in Slater and Gordon’s Motor Vehicle Accidents and Workers Compensation team, I'm proud to use my skills and passion in ensuring that those who have been injured at work or have been involved in a motor vehicle accident are exposed to the appropriate compensation, justice and support they deserve.
Since my admission to practice in 2015, I have represented clients in statutory benefits, impairment, serious injury and damages claims. Whether I’m helping our clients access their entitlements from the TAC or a WorkCover Insurer, or being a sounding board for someone scoping out their future options post injury, knowing I can make a positive impact to someone’s life makes me enjoy my career in the law.
My motivation for working in personal injury stems from my desire to provide an optimal level of service and care to everyday Victorians who have been faced with the financial, physical and mental challenges that can occur as a result of a work or road accident. I strive to alleviate my client’s concerns by simplifying any complex legal matters in their case by explaining the legal process in a way they understand.
I’m proud to have achieved a $500,000 settlement for a client who sustained a shoulder injury and consequential psychiatric injury. We were able to obtain this result without stepping into the courtroom -something our client wanted to avoid.
I also assisted a client in overturning their rejected WorkCover claim, which resulted in our client being back paid approximately two and a half years’ worth of weekly compensation payments.
