I started my career acting on behalf of insurers in personal injury claims. These claims often resulted in complex, multi-defendant proceedings involving complicated injuries. This experience benefits my practice today, as I have a unique understanding of the arguments typically relied on by insurers to defend claims and to minimise compensation. I am also able to transfer across my analytical skills and technical knowledge of the Worker's Compensation scheme and within the public liability framework to best advocate for my clients.
Since starting at Slater and Gordon, I have developed a more thorough understanding on the very real and life altering impacts that injuries can have on the lives of everyday people.
