I have over 13 years’ experience acting in complex financial services litigation. I now exclusively represents applicants and group members in investor and financial service class actions. I am known for taking a strategic and measured approach to litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Before joining Slater and Gordon Lawyers in 2018, I represented defendants and insurers in the financial services sector. I advised on insurance issues arising in class actions and have technical expertise across all coverage areas. My clients included Australian and overseas insurers, including Lloyd’s syndicates. I have also defended financial institutions, directors and officers, product issuers, AFSL holders, auditors, stockbrokers and accountants in claims brought by regulators and third-parties. My experience and knowledge is now being used to help improve the outcomes for class members in class actions.
I am regarded as a passionate advocate for my clients and for providing clear and direct advice.
I graduated from Monash University in 2004 with Bachelor of Laws (with honours) and Bachelor of Arts (with honours). I am admitted in the Federal Court of Australia, the High Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria and in Hong Kong, SAR.
