I am deeply passionate about medical law, particularly when someone is injured by our health care system. I understand that seeking compensation for an injury caused by medical negligence can be daunting and I work to ensure that people that have been injured as a result of medical negligence feel heard, supported and achieve a successful outcome.

I began working at Slater and Gordon as a trainee junior legal assistant in 2019 and commenced working in the Medical Law team in 2020. I have worked at Slater and Gordon as a legal assistant, law clerk and now as a lawyer under the supervision of Mr Liam Casey.

Throughout my time, I have worked on matters in a variety of jurisdictions, including New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia. I have also graduated with First Class Honours, completing an undergraduate thesis which explored the legal education of Australian health practitioners.

Completing a thesis on such a practical topic gave me an insight into the healthcare system which still shapes how I approach my work. Because of this experience, I understand the complexities that often accompany medical negligence cases and that the pathway forward is not always clear cut for a person injured by medical negligence. For this reason, I prioritise providing clarity and compassion for the circumstances that require a person to contact Slater and Gordon.

My additional experience includes working in Public Liability, the Afghanistan Project and in special projects litigation. Outside of law, I have a passion for horses and volunteer at a local equestrian centre and rehabilitation farm.
