Ariel Parker

I am a Lawyer in Slater and Gordon’s Public Liability team, who advocates for people whose lives have been disrupted by injury through no fault of their own. I understand that being injured can affect every part of your life, and I hope that through my work I can help make the legal process as clear, supportive and manageable as possible for injured individuals.

Growing up around social workers, I have had a strong sense of justice passed on to me, as well as a deep respect for people who find themselves navigating difficult systems. Becoming a lawyer has been a natural extension of these values. Prior to joining Slater and Gordon, I worked at the Federation of Community Legal Centres, Victoria’s peak body for non-profit community legal centres, and volunteered at Monash Law Clinics. These experiences have motivated me to use the law to stand beside people in vulnerable situations and help them secure the outcomes they deserve.

I completed Slater and Gordon’s Graduate Program and in the course of doing so had the opportunity to work in our Institutional Abuse team and Work & Road team as well as the Public Liability. This has shown me that no matter where or by whom a person has been injured, it is essential that they have a committed advocate by their side as they pursue compensation.
