Nicholas Morrison

I advise on all aspects of Employment and Industrial Law, Work Health and Safety, and Human Rights Law. I have a particular interest in contractual disputes, restraint of trade matters, workplace investigations, disciplinary and dismissal based disputes, and human rights and discrimination matters.

I have advised and represented employees and unions within the Federal Court and Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission, the Industrial Magistrates Court, the Equal Opportunity Commission, and the Australian Human Rights Commission.

I am committed to social justice, having previously been Outreach Team member of the Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees, and Detainees where I provided support and advocacy to asylum seekers in Western Australia.

I am committed to providing my clients with clear, practical, and strategic advice. I take pride in being straightforward with my clients about the prospects of their claim and how we may achieve their desired outcome. I prioritise efficient resolutions to client matters. In doing so, I believe in taking an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to matters and greatly enjoy achieving favourable and creative outcomes through confidential negotiations, as well as by court room litigation.
