Kellie Wright

I have worked at Slater and Gordon since 2015, briefly working in the Transport Accident Department before moving over exclusively to the Public Liability Department nearly seven years ago. I am passionate about advocating for my clients and ensuring that I achieve the best possible result for them. I understand that my clients are going through a difficult time, and I feel privileged to be able to assist them and seek justice on their behalf, whilst they focus on their recovery.

I am a compassionate, approachable, and empathetic person who builds strong and honest relationships with each of my clients. As your lawyer, you will feel comfortable and guided throughout the legal process and you will be well informed on any entitlements that you may have. Being able to assist individuals in finding a solution to a legal problem is why I pursued a career in law, and you can feel confident that I will have your best interests in the forefront of my mind throughout the entire legal process.

I have experience working on council cases, slip trips and falls, occupiers’ liability, product liability, school assault and bullying cases, aviation litigation, dog bite cases, nervous shock claims, sporting accidents, physical and sexual assaults, and coronial inquests. I have also been involved in several matters that have been run in the Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, and the Coroners Court.

Achievements

One of my proudest achievements was securing compensation for a client and his children, whose wife tragically passed away following an incident that occurred whilst they were holidaying at a holiday park. Whilst this case was heartbreaking, it was a privilege to be able to assist this family in receiving compensation that will be able to assist the father and his children into the future.
