I started working at Slater and Gordon in 2019 as a law clerk and have gained invaluable experience through the Medical Negligence, Public Liability and Motor Vehicle Accident fields. For the last two years I have been practicing law in the Motor Vehicle Accident team, where I am proud of the work my team does to achieve fair and just settlements for my clients in a short time frame. I am motivated to ensure the litigation or claims processes cause minimal disruption to my client's lives.
My experience ranges from giving an initial advice through to finalising settlements. I have been involved in Originating Motion hearings, Medical Panel appeals, VCAT hearings and resolving issued litigation. I have proudly negotiated multiple out of court settlements however, I am most passionate about assisting clients to get access to the treatment and financial support they had previously been denied, as I believe this has the most positive impact on their recovery.
I believe it is of utmost importance to listen and fully understand each of my clients' unique situations and I am proud of the rapport I have developed with my clients to date. I believe that by carefully listening to each person’s story, I can help them by giving straightforward and clear advice about what they can expect from their claim and from me, while also supporting them throughout the process.
