I began my career as a lawyer working in discrimination, human rights employment law because I want to stand up for workers' rights and a fair go. I grew up on the Gold Coast with parents who held everyday jobs. It was through their influence that I gained a deep appreciation for the principles of fairness, respect and social justice. I strive to ensure my clients feel like they are being heard and are receiving the best advice possible to make an informed decision.
Before joining Slater and Gordon's industrial & employment team, I worked across the community legal, government and private sectors. I leverage my varied skillset to assist unions across several industries and individual clients from all walks of life. I pride myself on tackling complex or unique disputes, from the earliest stages to contested litigation in state and federal employment jurisdictions.
