I have worked in the area of Industrial and Employment Law since I was admitted as a lawyer. Before joining Slater and Gordon I worked as a Legal/Industrial officer at Unions NSW where I ran industrial disputes in the NSW public sector and represented workers before parliamentary inquiries. I've also worked in a commercial firm that primarily represented employers, which fueled my fire to use my skills to benefit workers and unions.
Having always had a genuine interest in people and justice, it made sense to study law to equip myself with the skills and knowledge to make a positive difference for workers. Ensuring people know their rights and entitlements is the first and most vital step towards change, particularly in the employment environment.
I joined Slater and Gordon’s Industrial and Employment practice in 2021 and continue to work closely with the union movement. I am very aware of the impact a person’s working conditions can have on every part of their life and I aim to give my clients honest and practical advice throughout their dispute. I enjoy working with my clients to understand their issue and reach a positive resolution.
