I am a registered nurse and midwife with extensive experience across a broad range of clinical settings, including critical care, emergency, medical, surgical, paediatrics, and aged care. My career spans frontline nursing, international humanitarian deployments, and senior leadership roles within healthcare. I have significant expertise in clinical risk management and have conducted numerous investigations into adverse clinical events.

I bring strong investigative capability, advanced communication skills, and a nuanced understanding of the intersection between clinical practice, regulatory frameworks, and the lived experiences of patients and families. This clinical background is complemented by my admission to legal practice and a Master of Medical Law and Ethics.

My combined healthcare and legal experience uniquely positions me to assist individuals and families seeking answers about the standard of care they have received throughout their healthcare journey. I am skilled in communicating effectively and respectfully with people during times of crisis and emotionally challenging circumstances.

My lived experience of disability further strengthens my advocacy, grounding my approach in empathy, authenticity, and a deep appreciation of the human impact of healthcare and legal decision-making.

These experiences have led me to continue my advocacy and support for others, now informed and strengthened by the law. My commitment to justice in healthcare and helping those in need anchors my work as a lawyer.
