I’m part of the Motor Vehicle Accident and WorkCover teams here at Slater and Gordon. I’ve been practising since 2007 and have always concentrated on motor vehicle accident cases, where I’m proud to support people injured in road accidents get the compensation they deserve.
My experience ranges from giving initial advice to finalising settlements, and running difficult court cases including in front of juries. I decided to study law because I’m passionate about using my skills to help others, and the chance to help ease the disruption caused by injury is my driving force.
Empathy is one of the most important things in this profession and never losing sight of the fact that at the end of the day, it is the client’s claim and pivotal that I do my best every time.
Injured clients can often feel overwhelmed by the legal system during these difficult times, but my extensive experience means I give straightforward, clear advice about what they can expect from their claim, while also ensuring they feel supported throughout the process.
Every case is different, but some really stand out. I was proud to once help a severely injured man get a major settlement after an accident. He was incredibly determined to continue working in a limited capacity, and we were able to not only support his return to work but also secure a settlement of $1.1 million for him and his family.
