Slater and Gordon has recruited one of the state’s leading medical negligence lawyers as it continues to grow its Queensland business.
Karen Jarman has joined the firm as an Associate in the fast-growing medical negligence team.
Slater and Gordon has the largest plaintiff medical law practice in the nation acting for injured clients by taking on their medical negligence claims.
Ms Jarman joins Slater and Gordon with more than 15 years’ experience in medical law claims in Australia and the United Kingdom, and has acted in some of Australia’s largest and most complex medical law cases.
Ms Jarman secured one of the largest medical negligence compensation judgements in Western Australia, securing $11.6 million for her client after a four-week trial (Panagoulias v The East Metropolitan Health Service  WADC 118).
Additionally, Ms Jarman has secured a number of multimillion dollar awards for her Queensland clients.
