Slater and Gordon has announced senior promotions across its Queensland offices.
Brisbane lawyer Kavita Maharaj has been promoted to Principal Lawyer.
Ms Maharaj was admitted as a solicitor and barrister in 2004. She moved to Queensland one year later, joining Slater and Gordon in 2014, and is presently based out of the firm’s Brisbane office.
As part of the promotions, Tran Truong (Brisbane) and Rebekah Lovely (Shailer Park) have been named Senior Associates.
While Holly Nia Nia (Brisbane) and Angela Heather (Ipswich) have also been promoted to Associate.
Slater and Gordon’s Karen Simpson said the law firm was focused on developing young lawyers who were passionate about supporting clients across the country.
Ms Simpson said many of the lawyers announced in new roles had worked their way up through the firm, which focuses on ensuring clients receive the best possible support.
“Congratulations to all of those who have been promoted to new positions,” Ms Simpson said.
“This group of lawyers has worked hard and shown commitment to the important work they carry out every single day.
“We are very proud of all of our lawyers, who are focused on representing the best interests of all our clients.”
