After more than a decade of practicing law in Penrith, local lawyers John Cox and Adam West have decided on a brighter future with Slater and Gordon Lawyers.

Local Penrith law firm Cox West Lawyers has joined Slater and Gordon to increase the national law firm’s presence and client-reach in the greater western Sydney area.

NSW general manager Rachael James said the acquisition would allow more people in greater western Sydney to access high quality legal services.

“Cox West Lawyers has been offering superior legal services in the areas of compensation law, family law, criminal law, commercial law, wills and estate planning and conveyancing in Sydney’s western suburbs for a number of years,” Ms James said.

“Under the leadership of principals John Cox and Adam West, the team brings a wealth of experience and will fit perfectly into the Slater and Gordon culture.

“They too share a commitment to always providing expert advice, listening to clients’ needs, and working together to achieve a positive result.”

Both accredited by the Law Society of NSW, John Cox has been working as a lawyer in Penrith for 16 years, while family law specialist Adam West has been there for 12 years.

“We thoroughly enjoy working in Penrith and look forward to providing the highest quality legal services to more people in the local community,” Mr Cox said.

“By joining a highly experienced team, we are also looking forward to having greater capacity to help the growing number of medically discharged ex NSW police officers who we know require legal advice.”
