I started working as a paralegal in the Class Actions team in February 2020, primarily on the Spotless Class Action. Since then, I have been involved with the distribution of settlement funds for both the Spotless and Vocus class actions. I also took the lead on the bookbuild and registration process for the G8 Education Class Action from August 2020.
My work has predominately been in commercial and securities class action litigation and I have worked on a number of class actions concerning losses suffered by shareholders and investors. I have also been heavily involved in client engagement during both the registration and settlement distribution processes for various matters. I am excited about being involved in the development of a dedicated client engagement team within the department, aimed at improving our relationships with group members.
I am passionate about improving access to justice and throughout my law degree I volunteered at Moonee Valley Legal Service, JobWatch, Inner Melbourne Community Legal and the Metropolitan Remand Centre. I am proud to work in the Class Actions team where my work directly contributes to improving access to justice for everyday Australians in complex and large-scale litigation.
