Working in the Superannuation team at Slater and Gordon, I draw on my strong experience in superannuation and disability insurance to get injured clients access to much-needed financial support.
Starting my legal career in 1996, I built my expertise across several departments in the firm, including Public Liability, WorkCover and Asbestos Litigation, before moving to the Superannuation department in 2007. I am an expert in difficult insurance litigation claims, challenging declined income protection claims through superannuation or private policies, interest claims and trauma policies.
I'm really passionate about challenging unreasonable and unfair decisions made by insurers. For instance, one of my past clients was a middle-aged lady with injuries to both arms. Her super fund wouldn't pay her out because the insurer said she could return to work. I was able to get her get the justice she deserved.
Being injured and financially vulnerable, my clients are often going through the most difficult time of their lives, so I find it rewarding to fight for their best interests. As your lawyer, my aim is to resolve your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible, so you can focus on recovery and getting on with life.
