As a Lawyer for Slater and Gordon in Brisbane, my goal is to find an effective path through sometimes complex and challenging legal systems to deliver the outcome you desire. I am based in Brisbane but also regularly handle legal matters in our offices in North Lakes, the Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.
Born in Australia and raised as a Fijian Indian, I can speak English and Hindi.
I began my undergraduate studies at the Queensland University of Technology in 2014. I graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) before attending the College of Law for my Graduate Diploma in Legal Practices. I was pleased to be admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2020. Whilst studying I also gained legal experience at Carter Newell and as a legal assistant at Retail Zoo.
During my studies I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study in India. This experience reinforced in me the importance of a reliable health care system that delivers consistent outcomes. Every Australian has the right to effective health care. Through my work as a health lawyer I can highlight where there are opportunities for improvement. I am passionate about advocating for change where it is needed, for patients to feel safe and supported.
Throughout my life I have admired and identified with people who have had the passion and bravery to champion societal injustices and advocate with well-reasoned ideas. As a lawyer I can advocate on your behalf and ensure you are fairly heard, represented, and given a fair go. This is my primary reason for choosing a career in law.
Living through the process of a complex legal matter can be challenging. My goal is to make it as smooth and stress-free as possible. I champion your legal case, so you can focus on moving forward. Throughout this process I remain accessible and approachable and will keep you updated on the progress of your case at all times.
