The law had always fascinated me but I knew pretty early on that I didn’t really want to be a lawyer. I love people and really wanted to have a hands-on relationship with clients, so being a Law Clerk was the perfect career path for me.

After studying, I found my way to Slater and Gordon and haven’t looked back.

I have had a varied career at Slater and Gordon, working in everything from personal injury, crime, commercial litigation, industrial and employment law, and most recently, working with victims of crime to pursue compensation for physical and psychological injuries. I am so grateful to work with and have learnt from, passionate lawyers all specialised in their respective fields.

I have been involved in complex large scale industrial litigation and major criminal matters, which has all been remarkable and exciting, but the most rewarding work that I have done in my career is working on behalf of plaintiffs suffering from asbestos related diseases. This work can be particularly challenging and emotional at times, but knowing that you can bring justice and peace of mind to someone at the point in their lives when it really makes the difference, makes the work all that more rewarding.
