I’ve been at Slater and Gordon since 2003, and have been the firm’s Union Services Coordinator for Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia from 2017. I am now the National Union Services Operations Manager, helping union members access justice through Slater and Gordon. I combine my broad practical experience with a passion for workers’ rights to win justice for unions and their members.

My clients are generally people who feel helpless about their situation. It’s my role to guide them down the road to justice. I love being able to work with a team of like-minded colleagues, fighting for people who would otherwise have no one to stand up for them.

I was in high school when the now-infamous Australian waterfront dispute between the Patrick Corporation and the Maritime Union of Australia made industrial relations history. I wrote about the dispute for a school assignment, and it was soon clear to me whose side I was on: the side of the sacked workers and the union. From that point forward, I have been passionate about helping Australians who have copped an unfair deal.

My experience includes several years in the in-house legal team of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union, where I gained insight to challenges faced by our union clients.
