As a lawyer with Slater and Gordon, I’m passionate about helping our clients—who often are experiencing complex issues like illness, injury or financial burden—feel supported at every step of their claim.
I started with Slater and Gordon in 2015 as a junior legal assistant in the Coal Mines Compensation team in Newcastle. I’m proud to have stayed in this challenging and rewarding area of the law across my early legal career and in 2018 I progressed to my current role as a second-year lawyer within the team.
I work closely with my instructing solicitors on our clients’ workers’ compensation cases in the District Court, and I help to progress common law cases filed in the District and Supreme Courts. On top of my role as a second-year lawyer, I also solely manage industrial deafness claims for coal miners in the District Court and industrial deafness claims for energy workers in the NSW workers’ compensation scheme.
I’m privileged to have regular contact with our clients as our team expertly handles their claims, and I enjoy getting to know each client and seeing their case through to the end.
