Born in Fiji, raised in New Zealand and admitted as a lawyer in Australia, I am very proud of my Indian heritage and international experience.
Whenever I was asked as a child what I wanted to be when I grew up, my reply was always ‘a lawyer’. I was fascinated with courtroom drama on TV and would play “trials and courtrooms” with my siblings. My goal was always to help ‘everyday’ people achieve justice.
After graduating from the University of Auckland, I was admitted as a solicitor in 2005 and am now a Principal Lawyer in Slater and Gordon’s Motor Vehicle Accident team in our Brisbane office. As an experienced litigation lawyer, I am proud to help everyday people who have experienced a loss with informed legal advice.
Previously whilst living in New Zealand, I was mentored in several areas of law including personal injury, family law, employment law, workplace law and property law.
I am passionate about connecting with my clients and their lives. When a person has experienced a life changing incident, it can affect the whole family unit. As a mum I understand the importance of family. I am committed to supporting my clients through this challenging time to ensure they obtain the best outcome.
My approach is to get to know my clients and find out what they would like to achieve. I love talking to clients about their job, their family and their future. I’m also fluent in both Hindi and English, which allows me to assist clients who may not be comfortable with English.
