As an Associate working within the Class Actions team, I have a demonstrated track-record of delivering positive outcomes for clients in complex large-scale litigation, since beginning my career in this team as a paralegal in 2012.
I practice predominantly in complex commercial class action litigation, on behalf of thousands of shareholders, often on cases involving high-profile defendants such as Newcrest Mining Ltd (settled in 2016 for $36 million) and Billabong International Ltd (settled in 2016 for $45 million).
I also have extensive experience investigating and commencing shareholder class action litigation, most recently in relation to issued proceedings against Spotless Group Holdings Ltd and Bellamy’s Australia Ltd, and the proposed proceeding against Brambles Ltd.
I am passionate about increasing access to justice and increasing the number of female barristers briefed in commercial litigation and, to this end, coordinate Slater and Gordon’s involvement in the Law Council of Australia’s Equitable Briefing Policy.
