As a lawyer working in the public liability team at Slater and Gordon Lawyers, I am passionate about providing services to injured clients and guiding them through our complex legal system.
I first started my career here at Slater and Gordon in 2011 with our New Client Services team where I was responsible for taking initial client enquiries across a broad range of practices and in particular, enquiries relating to the physical and sexual abuse within the Australian Defence Force in the 1980s. It was here that I realised why I chose law; I want to help people by listening to their stories when no-one else can or will.
In a previous role I was a Law Clerk in the Superannuation and Insurance Litigation team, where I worked with clients at a pre-issue stage to avoid the long and strenuous superannuation litigation process.
In 2017, I commenced my role as a law graduate with the Slater and Gordon In-house Costing Department, where I learnt the importance of costs disclosures and discussions with clients to assist clients in making informed decisions and maximise costs recovery.
I believe it is absolutely critical that our clients have all the information they need to make informed decisions. I am dedicated to assist our clients using my knowledge and passion for a successful outcome.
