As a lawyer within Slater and Gordon’s Class Actions team, Idil predominately works on large-scale group proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia and the Victorian Supreme Court.
Idil began her career as a paralegal with Slater and Gordon in 2015, working on the Manus Island Class Action. This case, amongst others, allowed her to pursue her passion for addressing social justice issues and improving access to justice for all.
Since working with Slater and Gordon, Idil has gained valuable experience in large-scale and complex litigation, having worked property damage claims for property and business owners in Western Australia who suffered loss and damage as a result of bushfires.
In recent times Idil has expanded her areas of expertise to include commercial and securities class action litigation, and she currently works on a number of class actions concerning losses suffered by shareholders and investors.
