Eleanor commenced her legal career at Slater and Gordon in 2017. Throughout her time at the firm, Eleanor has worked extensively on complex commercial matters specialising in securities class actions.
Eleanor has been involved in several commercial class actions including the Murray Goulburn class action, the Provident class action, the Bellamy’s class action and the Brambles class action. Eleanor also investigates prospective group claims with a focus on corporate misconduct.
In addition to her commercial litigation experience, Eleanor has worked on landmark common law matters such as the Manus Island class action. Eleanor was also involved in the Parkerville Bushfire class action and assisted the team during the Supreme Court trial in Western Australia in 2018.
Eleanor believes that class actions are an important mechanism which allow wronged individuals to seek redress, and she is passionate about increasing access to justice. In addition to her work in class actions, Eleanor also takes on pro bono matters and has a keen interest in social justice.
