Bethany commenced her practicing career in rural Victoria in 2019, working to secure compensation for hundreds of individuals and businesses impacted by bushfires across Australia and assisting clients in insurance disputes. Since joining Slater & Gordon in 2020, Bethany’s practice has expanded to include complex large-scale commercial class action litigation.

Bethany is a passionate advocate for access to justice for Australians from all backgrounds, including those living in rural and regional areas. She has experience in all stages of class action litigation from investigations through to interlocutory disputes, trial and settlement.

Away from the law, Bethany has a background in political and international relations research and volunteering with leadership, education and community initiatives for rural and remote youth, the Office of the Public Advocate, the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Australian Institute of International Affairs.
