This year, Slater and Gordon are once again the National Gold Sponsor of the Mother’s Day Classic.

Launched in 1998 in Melbourne and Sydney as a fun run/walk to help raise funds for breast cancer research, the annual event has since expanded nationally to all capital cities and some regional locations. To date, the event has raised $7.8 million for research programs for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

This year the event will be held on Sunday May 8th at the following locations: Adelaide, Ballarat, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Gold Coast, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney (Domain and Parramatta Park) and Wollongong. The course is 4km or 8km, and participants can choose to walk or run.

In 2010 we had over 400 members in the Slater and Gordon team, and the Melbourne team was once again runner-up for largest corporate team entered on the day.

We aim to field the largest corporate team nationally in 2011.
