Slater and Gordon Lawyers is opening its doors to the Werribee community for the first time, and will host a free family fun day on Saturday March 19 for the local community.
The new office recently opened as part of Slater and Gordon’s commitment to the western suburbs of Melbourne by establishing a strong presence of lawyers in Keilor, Footscray, Sunshine, and now Werribee.
The lawyers in Keilor, Footscray, Sunshine and Werribee are mobile and will travel depending on the individual needs of clients. Therefore, anyone who requires legal assistance in the western suburbs of Melbourne can now attend their local Slater and Gordon office for assistance from a lawyer with a speciality in personal injuries, family law, wills and estate litigation or commercial law.
Slater and Gordon Victorian General Manager Cath Evans said creating a ‘network’ in western Melbourne meant clients could now access legal services far more easily.
“The new office in Werribee will fill a vital gap for Slater and Gordon clients in the region. We have committed many of our most experienced lawyers to the region, with decades of combined specialist legal knowledge,” she said.
Western Melbourne resident Patricia Taggart will be managing the new Werribee site. Ms Taggart has been working with Slater and Gordon for 22 years.
“To be able to offer a talented person like Patricia a role in her local community is a real coup,” Ms Evans said.
The family fun day will include a range of activities such as a sausage sizzle provided by the Werribee Lions Club, face painting, live music, giveaways, an animal farm and balloons.
The event will also offer plenty of opportunities for dancing, thanks to live music provided by students from Werribee Secondary College.
Slater and Gordon’s Werribee office Family Fun Day will be held Saturday, March 19 from 11am to 3pm at Wedge St Piazza, 90 Watton St, Werribee (next to Beaurepaires).
