Yan Yean Road is an important arterial road in Melbourne’s north. The Victorian Government allocated $131 million in funding to duplicate a 4km section of the road in its 2016 budget.
Planning for this project is well advanced, and construction is expected to begin in 2017. It is expected that 70 properties will be affected by compulsory acquisitions required for the project.
