    5. Entry is open to attendees of the Doncaster Professional Practices Meeting. Entry is only open to those who enter their business card or filled in entry form into the entry box at the event during the promotional period.
    6. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
    7. The promotion commences at 6:00pm AEST (VIC) on 28/9/2016 and ends at 10:00pm AEST (VIC) on 28/9/2016 (“Promotional Period”).  
    8. To receive an entry into the draw, entrants must deposit their business card or filled in entry form into the entry box at the Doncaster Professional Practices Meeting.
    9. Only one entry per person is permitted.
    10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver
    11. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
    12. The draw will take place at the Doncaster Professional Practices Meeting at the Skyline Room, Shopping Town Hotel, 19 Williamsons Road Doncaster 3108. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
    13. The winner will be notified at the event, if they aren’t at the event when the price is drawn they will be notified by telephone and via email within two (2) business days of the draw. The prize will then be sent to them by courier (DX/Toll or another courier with signature collection who is available) if it is not claimed on the draw day.
    14. The name of the prize winner will be published no later than 5/10/2016 on the Slater and Gordon website at the following link: www.slatergordon.com.au/competitions
    15. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
    16. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take/redeem the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
    17. The prize is two (2) Star Movie Vouchers valued at $35, the expiry date for the prize is valid until August 2017.
    18. A draw for the prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 7/10/2016 at the event. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing by email within two (2) business days of the draw.
    19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; (e) taking and/or use of the prize; or (f) the promotion.

The winner is chosen based on merit and the creativity of the answer and chance does not play a part in determining the winner.
    11. The winner will be notified by email within five (5) business days of the draw. The prize will then be sent to the winner by courier at an address nominated by the winner.
    12. The name of the prize winner will be published within five (5) business days of the draw on the Slater and Gordon website at the following link: www.slatergordon.com.au/competitions

      A) 
      A file is a “qualified” file if it qualifies for our standard fixed fee conveyancing offer (i.e. the conveyance relates only to domestic residences less than $1.8 million in value. Excludes purchases off the plan, company title, old systems titles and rural properties.
      B) A referral will be counted once a new file is opened.
