ANZ Prime Access & ANZ Wealth Financial Planning Claims
Slater and Gordon is investigating claims on behalf of ANZ Prime Access and/or ANZ Wealth clients who have suffered losses as a result of financial and investment advice received from ANZ or have concerns with the quality of the services provided by ANZ.
ANZ Prime Access
Recent media reports have raised concerns about the level of service provided to ANZ Prime Access clients. Prime Access is a financial planning and advisory service offered by ANZ since 2003. ANZ has confirmed that a documented annual review which is offered as part of its fee-for-service Prime Access package had not been provided to its clients (although they had been paid for) until as late as 2013.
ANZ estimates approximately 8,500 clients are affected and that it will cost approximately $30 million to reimburse those clients.
Slater and Gordon is investigating claims on behalf of ANZ Wealth and/or ING Australia clients who have suffered losses as a result of financial and investment advice received from ANZ, including losses suffered as a result of investing in a number of failed agribusiness managed investment schemes such as Timbercorp Limited and Great Southern.
What we can do for you
ANZ clients may be entitled to compensation if they relied on financial advice from ANZ that fails to meet the level of service it has promised, or the minimum standards required of financial planners and advisors.
It is important to be aware that strict time limits apply to claims concerning poor financial advice. If claims are not commenced in court before the applicable time limit expires, the right to pursue the claim will be permanently lost.
If you are concerned about advice you have received from ANZ, we strongly recommend that you seek independent legal advice as soon as possible to avoid losing the opportunity to pursue a claim for compensation.
Slater and Gordon is also investigating claims on behalf of clients who received financial advice from Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), Macquarie Private Wealth and National Australia Bank (NAB).
