Slater & Gordon managing director Andrew Grech experienced first-hand what it’s like to be homeless as part of a fundraiser event for the homeless.
Andrew joined more than 700 other CEOs and senior managers to participate in St Vinnies’ CEO Sleepout held on 16 June to raise funds in helping those less fortunate and still sleeping on the streets.
Despite Australia being a privileged country there are still an estimated 105,000 men, women and children who are homeless.
The CEO Sleepout challenges business and community leaders like Andrew to experience homelessness first-hand for one night, raise money, and with a fresh insight go on to effect change on this serious issue.
