Trevor Clarke
Senior Associate, Melbourne
Industrial
Trevor Clarke approaches industrial legal practice with the aim of ensuring that the workers he acts for, either directly or through their industrial representatives, are neither taken advantage of nor subjected to discriminatory or unreasonable treatment in their employment.
Attention to detail, creativity and stamina are his greatest strengths. Securing and enforcing safe, dignified and fair employment opportunities through collective strength is his main focus.
His own abiding belief, hatched as a student, that legal practice was all about “using the law as a means of ensuring that the reasonable person was treated reasonably,” brought him to Slater & Gordon where, as he says, “I’m in good company”.
Trevor graduated from Latrobe University in 1999 and first started working at Slater & Gordon in that same year.
“As a student I wanted to use the law as a means of ensuring that the reasonable person was treated reasonably. I saw that Slater & Gordon chose to apply their skills to areas of practise which achieved this.”
