Until mid 2007, Sue was a Partner at leading UK law firm Leigh Day & Co where she specialised in high value motor vehicle and public liability personal injury matters. Sue was head of the legal team retained exclusively by both British Cycling and the British Triathlon Federation, two of the UK’s largest sports governing bodies, to provide a comprehensive legal service to their members. She has represented hundreds of athletes both amateur and professional, in serious injury, fatal accident and high profile multi party accident claims. Sue’s work has and continues to include, acting for many individuals injured whilst travelling internationally.
Sue has been acknowledged as an expert in the field of UK personal injury litigation by the leading guides to the legal profession to include ‘Legal Experts, Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and The Legal 500. She is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers in the UK, a member of the American Association for Justice and the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers and has lectured widely on UK legal practice and procedure.
