Practice Group Leader, Sydney

Workers Compensation NSW (excluding coal miners)

The opportunity to help people who don’t necessarily have the means to help themselves is what attracted Roshana May to legal practice.

Roshana’s clients are typically people who have been injured, whether at work, in public or in motor vehicle accidents, many with little or no understanding of their entitlements under the law.

Handling their concerns with integrity, honesty and taking the time to communicate clearly are important parts of Roshana’s approach to practice. Helping her clients to assert their rights and seeing them compensated for their injuries is a constant source of satisfaction.

Roshana graduated from the University of Sydney in 1985 and joined Slater & Gordon in 2006.

“I love the contact with people and the opportunity I get to help them asserting their rights. My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing injured people compensated for the injuries.”
