Rod Jones practices broadly across this area with over thirty years experience in the sale and purchase of businesses, leasing and commercial conveyancing, franchising, manufacturing, distribution and joint venture agreements in a wide range of industries. He has also assisted and advised Local Government in these matters.

Rod is also active in the Not for Profit Sector, especially in relation to Constitutions, Service Agreements with Councils and other service providers.

He is a past Chairman of the Business Law Specialisation Advisory Committee of the LIV.

He joined Slater & Gordon in early 2008 following its merger with the long established firm of Secombs Solicitors. As he said, "The emphasis of both firms was on the client and so the fit seemed natural".
