A senior lawyer with extensive commercial and general legal experience (including 17 years as a partner of a major Sydney law firm) Robert Miles has a broad cross section of business, professional and commercial clients, which necessitates the application of an extensive range of legal skills with commercial knowledge and understanding.

For a period of some 12 months, Robert was a non-executive Director of an ASX listed company and also provided legal services to such company particularly with technology transfer arrangements.

Since his early days with Abbott Tout, Robert has worked in the property/business/commercial areas of legal practice which has included advisory work for a number of diverse companies. For a short period, Robert Miles was the part time in house counsel for a rutile exploration company during its IPO endeavours. The role involved extensive time in Chile becoming familiar with Chilean mining laws and other relevant legislative requirements.

Currently Robert acts for a corporate advisory group which provides a comprehensive range of services to numerous ASX listed companies; this in addition to Robert’s retainer for a publicly listed engineering/technology company.
