Commercial Litigation
Committed, meticulous and proactive, Odette McDonald is a key resource of Slater & Gordon's Commercial Litigation team. "The satisfaction of achieving practical and commercial outcomes for my clients in response to complex legal issues, and in often stressful circumstances, is the most fulfilling aspect of my role".
Odette's client base includes individuals, groups of litigants, and companies. Odette has been involved in a number of large and successful trials, including shareholder proceedings to recover damages against a publicly listed company for contravention of ASX continuous disclosure rules, and multi-party proceedings relating to a property development on contaminated land. Odette also draws on her litigation experience to advise clients on how to resolve disputes before they become litigious.
