Mona EmeraMona’s interest in family law stems from a desire to assist clients through a generally difficult time in their lives by providing practical and realistic advice with an aim to achieving long lasting and workable solutions, particularly in relation to the ongoing co-operative parenting of children following separation.

Mona assists both de facto and married couples, as well as grandparents and other significant people in children’s lives. She has a broad range of experience in family law and typically provides advice in relation to parenting and children’s matters, financial matters, property settlements, spousal maintenance, divorce and intervention orders.

Mona is highly motivated, practical and results driven in her approach to family law and believes in communicating with clients to ensure that they understand the legal process and how it relates to their particular set of circumstances. Overall, what matters most to Mona is achieving the best possible results for her clients in a timely and cost effective manner.

Mona graduated from La Trobe University in 2005 and joined the Slater & Gordon team in 2008.
