Margaret Brain was admitted as a solicitor in 1981. During most of her career she has practiced in the area of personal injury law and now heads up the rapidly expanding and committed Personal Injury Team at Slater & Gordon’s Brisbane office.
With over 20 years general personal injury experience encompassing both Motor Vehicle and Public Liability, Margaret’s particular areas of speciality are in the fields of catastrophic injury and medical negligence.
Margaret joined Slater & Gordon after the merger with Quinn & Scattini lawyers in 2008. Margaret is a committee member of the Queensland branch of the Australian Lawyers Alliance. She has delivered papers at conferences and written articles for professional journals in relation to damages for plaintiffs with an acquired brain injury. She is a member of various special interest groups with the Alliance.
