Manisha has successfully resolved of a broad range of disputes and litigation and her experience includes work on successful claims in the areas of:

  • Competition law litigation on behalf of ACCC for collusive price-fixing conduct
  • Litigation challenging the rejection of claims by insurers
  • Negotiated settlements and successful litigation of contractual disputes including against major corporations and institutions including Coles Myer and various Australian universities

What Manisha most enjoys about her role is guiding clients through a process that can be daunting and providing frank and practical advice focussed on finalising disputes on the best terms for her clients.

Manisha joined Slater & Gordon in July 2001 and worked in the firm’s New Client Services department as a consultant then Team Leader until completing her Bachelors degrees in Law and Arts (First Class Honours) in 2004. Manisha has been part of the Commercial Litigation team in Melbourne since 2005.

Prior to commencing work as a lawyer Manisha was an advocate for students and student organisations and was a member of the Monash University Council for two years where she developed an interest in corporate governance issues.
