Lee Kimonides
Lawyer, Melbourne
Medical Negligence
Lee Kimonides first commenced working at Slater & Gordon in 2005 when she completed a summer clerkship in the commercial litigation and medical negligence practices. Lee has since completed her articles of clerkship and has become a lawyer and vital part of the medical negligence team.
Lee is understanding, compassionate and motivated, and in this area of the law, they are fine qualities to have. In what is normally the most difficult time in life, for her clients, there are few lawyers with more dedication, a better work ethic and empathy than Lee.
Lee’s self motivation comes from working as part of the Slater & Gordon team to achieve compensation for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries as a result of negligence.
Lee enjoys the variety and challenge of her work and her typical cases range from surgery errors, failure to diagnose serious medical conditions to the incorrect prescription of medication.
For Lee, working at Slater & Gordon has provided the opportunity to play a part in achieving justice for those most deserving in our community.
Graduating from Monash University with Honours, Lee has worked on a range of file types and prides herself on advising clients clearly and concisely about the complex legal issues involved.
“I feel privileged to fight for the rights, and achieve justice for those injured as a result of medical negligence.” - Lee Kimonides
